Application:
It can separate material particles due to their different electric charges created from their fast motion. The charge is created by their high speed impacts due to fast moving air and friction between the particles. This results in an electric field. Different materials may be separated at different layers inside the Flotation Column. Used primarily for separation of small particles within different types of waste streams.
